I once worked hard to get the body I wanted. Then life happened…and I fell off the wagon. However, I’m now ready to have my butt kicked, my lifestyle changed, and to no longer worry about being out of shape. &lt;p&gt;I must be insane. Back home, at 60 degrees, jackets start coming out.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;BUT most importantly what this means: running outdoors again! And in a few days, I&amp;#8217;ll be back home to visit so even mooore trails and routes to kill.&lt;/p&gt;

Really it was about 10 pounds, and two inches on my waist and hips each, but it ALL went to my tummy. :(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Little rolls and all….ugh. But thankfully, it can be solved.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;At the same time, I was surprised at how much I gained and how little it affected my body elsewhere…now I know. The only problem is that my family loves junk, and it's hard for me to resist because I love good food. I'm at about 122 right now and I need to be 110-115. I was this weight before the summer, but I was unhealthy so it's hard. I'm willing to work hard and be healthy about it, but it's so difficult, I feel like I'm trying to climb a mountain. &lt;p&gt;You CAN eat AND enjoy it! Just find yourself some healthy snacks you won’t feel guilty pigging out on! &lt;span&gt;I have fallen in love with dried fruits, berries, and bananas. The beautiful thing: I have to eat tons of them to take in the same amount of calories as I would, say, a handful of Cheetos. Of course, this means I still have a handful of Cheetos every once in a while.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, keeping track of what you eat really helps you be held accountable for it! Whether you want to do Instagram or MyFitnessPal or even just writing it down in a journal, RECORD YOUR EATING HABITS SOMEWHERE. Then you look and say “Why did I feel the need to get fast food at 5 PM if I ate a nice lunch at noon and I knew Mom was gonna be serving dinner at 7?”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And understand it’s ALL about choices. Just like there’s a ton of junk food, there’s probably some veggies and fruits that you can choose to eat INSTEAD. I assumed I deleted this, but I haven&amp;#8217;t, and I&amp;#8217;m so glad I didn&amp;#8217;t!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Literally almost a year later, I have these things to add:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Prom season was around May last year. I bought a prom dress in February that was a bit tight, and by the time May came around, there was quite a bit of room in my strapless dress! I was working out 6 times a week, running and strength for an hour a day, and eating well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Summer I was HOT!!! Then I began college&amp;#8230;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-Freshman 15 got me. It&amp;#8217;s so easy as a student adjusting to a super rigorous school, 2000 miles from home, viewing food socially instead of as fuel to gain weight. BUT I am also eating a greater variety of foods and enjoying a lot of healthy options so there is hope for me yet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-I&amp;#8217;m ready to get back on the wagon. I make excuses every time, skip one day of workouts then everything falls apart&amp;#8230;but I am ready to make a change again. (Starting next week though because I&amp;#8217;ve been sick with strep for two weeks and I JUST got the flu).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;-If you&amp;#8217;ve been following me all this time (and still do - I appreciate you!) please, let me know how your progress has been!
